Rising one year old bull calves on kale breaks in winter
We love meeting people from around the world and sharing our farming business and our own little piece of New Zealand paradise. We offer farm tours of approximately three hours to small groups (six or less) including morning or afternoon tea. Lunch can also be included when required.
If you would like to visit us or find out more please get in touch with us via our Contact page. Better yet, if you'd like to plan a whole trip to New Zealand we highly recommend Karen and her team at Latitude South Travel Company.
We are in a beautiful part of New Zealand and it has a lot to offer. Within an hour of Kinsale you will find skifields, hot air ballooning, hot pools, numerous towns and villages to explore, Christchurch City, Terrace Downs Resort and many beautiful walks; among other attractions!
We wanted to thank you for your wonderful hospitality, the yummy food and sharing your wonderful and beautiful Kinsale with us. This is a memory that we will carry with us and share with friends and family.
Thank you for the hospitality you extended to all of us. We very much enjoyed the tour of the working dogs with the sheep and the cattle. You have a very nice house and ranch. We also enjoyed visiting with you and learning more about New Zealand ranching. Again, thanks for your welcome and New Zealand hospitality.
We would like to thank you again for the wonderful time we spent with you at your family ranch. Our visit with you at Kinsale truly was one of the most enjoyable days of our incredible trip to New Zealand. From the welcoming muffins to the expedition around your beautiful property, this was a unique and special experience. We loved learning about your approach to sheep and cattle ranching – we had no idea that the methodology of livestock breeding is so intricate and scientifically-based. We were so impressed with your knowledge and your willingness and excitement to share it. Importantly, we appreciate your dedication to maintaining your family business and the vital work of ranching. You two are hardworking, smart and creative! Many thanks again for being such terrific hosts.
We have just returned from our three weeks in New Zealand and Australia. We consider our afternoon at your farm one of the highlights of our trip and are so grateful for your hospitality! Learning about New Zealand's cattle and sheep industry in general, your farm in particular, and personally observing it (especially watching your wonderful dogs in action with the cattle) afforded us insights one can never get from a book or brochure. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience.
